Speaker & Thought Leadership

I approach speaking as a “guide on the side rather than sage on the stage”, which means audiences don’t just listen — they engage, reflect, and leave with tools they can actually use.

Keynotes

60–90 minute keynote experiences designed to be engaging, practical, and deeply human. My keynotes combine storytelling, neuroscience-informed research, and applied organizational insights to support real learning — not passive consumption.

Each keynote includes interactive elements, space for reflection or dialogue when appropriate, and Q&A. Participants receive comprehensive resource PDFs with frameworks, tools, and links to support continued learning beyond the event.

I approach speaking as a “guide on the side, not a sage on the stage”, ensuring audiences leave feeling informed, empowered, and equipped — without shame, pressure, or performative motivation.

Ideal for:

  • Leadership conferences and summits
  • Corporate events and offsites
  • Industry association meetings
  • University commencements and leadership programs

Panel Discussions

I bring a nuanced, grounded perspective to panels on leadership, equity, the future of work, communication, and systemic change — in both in-person and virtual formats. I have extensive experience as a panelist, moderator, and host, particularly in online environments.

As one of the few practitioners integrating neuroscience, trauma-informed practice, applied improvisation, and formal training in education (M.Ed.), I contribute perspectives that move conversations beyond surface-level talking points toward insight, complexity, and actionable understanding.

When appropriate and in service of learning, I’m also open to discussing lived experience — including disability, chronic illness, neurodiversity, and long-term social justice activism — with clear boundaries and care. Personal experience is shared intentionally, never as spectacle, and always in support of meaningful dialogue.

Conference Workshops & Interactive Sessions

These 2–8 hour facilitated experiences are designed for conferences, summits, and retreats seeking deeper engagement than a traditional keynote. Sessions use applied learning techniques to build skills participants can use immediately — individually and within their organizations.

Formats may include guided practice, small-group work, reflection, and facilitated discussion, tailored to the goals and context of the event.

Well-suited for:

  • Conference breakout sessions
  • Summit deep-dive workshops
  • Association training events
  • Executive retreat sessions

Virtual Events

I bring extensive experience designing and delivering high-impact virtual keynotes, panels, and workshops that prioritize engagement, accessibility, and genuine connection across digital platforms. Virtual formats are treated as a strength — not a limitation — and are intentionally designed to support participation, energy, and learning.

Media & Thought Leadership

I’m available for a range of media and thought leadership engagements that explore leadership, workplace culture, equity, disability justice, and organizational change.

This includes:

  • Podcast interviews and virtual conversations
  • Guest writing for industry publications, corporate blogs, and thought leadership platforms
  • Expert commentary and media interviews on current events and workplace trends
  • Guest lecturing and academic partnerships with universities and executive education programs

I’m also open to organizational retainer relationships that provide ongoing access to expertise, perspective, and strategic thought partnership as needs evolve.ght leadership

Speaking engagements can stand alone or serve as an entry point into deeper workshops, coaching, or organizational consulting — depending on your goals, timeline, and scope.

What Makes My Speaking Different

Pioneering methodology, global experience, and authentic lived perspective come together in speaking that leaves audiences feeling seen, energized, and ready to act.

Proven Track Record
I’ve delivered presentations and workshops for Fortune 500 technology companies, leading universities, major healthcare systems, global nonprofits, and industry associations across multiple sectors.

Global Perspective
My international consulting experience across six continents — combined with growing up across the U.S., Japan, and Germany — informs a deep understanding of cross-cultural dynamics, cultural humility, and communication in global, interconnected workplaces.

Pioneering Thought Leadership
I’m among the first practitioners to integrate neuroscience, applied improvisation, trauma-informed practices, and deep empathy into a cohesive methodology for organizational transformation. Audiences consistently report leaving my talks feeling seen, hopeful, and energized — ready to create meaningful change.

Science Meets Stories Meets Joy
Every presentation weaves current neuroscience and organizational psychology research with decades of real-world experience witnessing transformation in action. I bring evidence-based rigor, lived insight, and genuine joy — not motivational platitudes.

Authentic Lived Experience
As a disabled entrepreneur who has navigated chronic illness and other intersecting minoritizations while building a successful consulting practice, I bring perspectives often missing from traditional leadership and business conversations.

Practical Application
Audiences leave with concrete tools, frameworks, and strategies they can implement immediately — not just inspiration. All presentations include interactive elements and comprehensive resource PDFs to support real learning and application.

Anti-Oppression Practice
All of my work is grounded in DEIJB principles and anti-racist, anti-white-supremacy frameworks. My presentations are designed to be accessible, relevant, and responsive to diverse audiences while actively challenging systems of inequity within organizational contexts

Partnership Values & Event Inclusivity

I prioritize working with events that demonstrate a commitment to inclusive, accessible, and ethical practices — not just in content, but in how events are designed and compensated. I prioritize speaking at events that demonstrate inclusive practices, including:

  • Diverse speaker lineups that reflect the communities they serve
  • Accessible event design for disabled and chronically ill attendees (like me)
  • Inclusive programming that goes beyond tokenism
  • Transparent and equitable compensation for all speakers and facilitators

I’m happy to share resources to help make your event more inclusive, including our Conference Inclusivity Framework developed during my residency with Sisters in Crime (SinC). Let’s work together to create events where all attendees can thrive.

Booking Information

I work closely with organizers to ensure clarity around audience, goals, accessibility needs, and format — so the experience feels thoughtful, aligned, and impactful.

Global Reach: Based San Francisco Bay Area, delivered workshops and keynotes across 4 continents in-person, reached 6 continents virtually, and I’m still waiting for that first booking in Antarctica!

Collaborative Approach: Professional development budgets typically cover speaking investments. I work collaboratively to find solutions that fit within budget parameters while honoring both the value of the work and practical logistics—whether that means adjusting format, delivery method, or scope to create a meaningful experience that works for everyone
